The Monsters and Labubu

The cute chaos that haunts your collection

Labubu was born from the pencil of Kasing Lung, an illustrator born in Hong Kong who grew up in the Netherlands and now lives in Belgium. In 2015 he created The Monsters, a gang of creatures inspired by Nordic fairy tales, first told in a trilogy of picture books. Around Labubu you'll find Zimomo, Tycoco, Spooky and Pato.

With pointy ears and a jagged-tooth grin, Labubu looks like a little troublemaker. Yet he has a kind heart: he always wants to help, even when his clumsiness gives him away. His lesson fits in one line: when things get tough, smile like Labubu.

Every blind box keeps its suspense until you open it: which design will you get, and will the secret edition show up?

The Monsters and Labubu

The Monsters and Labubu: your questions

Who created Labubu?

Illustrator Kasing Lung. Born in Hong Kong and based in Belgium, he created The Monsters in 2015, drawing on Nordic fairy tales, in a trilogy of picture books.

Who are the other members of The Monsters?

Labubu shares his world with Zimomo, Tycoco, Spooky and Pato. You'll find items from the whole gang on this page.

What is a blind box?

A sealed box whose contents you only discover when you open it. The design is picked at random from the series: that's the fun of it.

What is a secret figure?

A design rarer than the others, slipped at random into some boxes of a series. It can't be chosen or guaranteed.

Can I choose my design?

Not with a blind box: chance is part of the game. When a design is sold on its own, without a surprise box, its product page says so.
